Victoria Grantham, MSW

Ms. Grantham currently sees client's who range in age from 5-65 for individual, couples, or family counseling. Some areas she finds particularly rewarding are: relationship issues, parenting concerns (including ADHD), stage of life transitions, grief and loss, trauma treatment as well as depression and anxiety. During the first session, Ms. Grantham conducts an interview to gather vital information while also developing a trusting relationship with each client. Rapport and a thorough understanding of a client's history are the keys to her successful use of a variety of therapeutic methods including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy (adult and child play therapy), Mindfulness and Meditation; Internal Family Systems Therapy, Guided Imagery, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

She completed a one-year internship with Hospice in Gaston County, a 2nd one-year internship with Gaston Memorial Hospitals inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization psychiatric programs. She completed her NC State Licensure requirements as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker while working in an outpatient mental health facility and in a private practice setting.
